That have no agenda.

That are not organized.

When you have no control over the outcome, content, and/or dialogue.

That overlap with existing commitments.

When you know they will suck your energy and wellbeing.

That have the phrase “pick your brain” in the invite.

When they are not relevant to you.

That are longer than 55 minutes (or are 90+ minutes with no breaks).

When the meeting could really be an email.

Unnecessary meetings cost companies over $100 million per year.

We should stop going to them.

And we should make meetings more awesome.
