Add Value by How You Think

The Potentiality’s Cartoonist in Residence, Phil Skipper, has an interesting take on thinking and learning. Here is how Phil captured our personal and collective definitions of thinking and learning: “Learning & Thinking means finding new tools and strategies to understand and solve life’s challenges. Intellectual capital is the driving force of today’s knowledge economy. You will use these competencies to transform problems into solutions.”

Because with connectivity, wisdom and embracing challenge, great thinkers inspire people in ways that build community and enhance well-being.

Here are Kurt, Mike and my opinions about what makes for great thinking.

Enjoy!

John Says:

“Thinking means connectivity. Great thinkers know that erything is strategically connected to everything else and they see clarity where others see chaos. By putting the puzzle pieces together before everyone else, great thinkers create innovative solutions and find strategic alignments within complexity.”

 Kurt Says:

“Thinking and learning involves making smart decisions based on the integration of your experience and reasoned consideration – let’s call this wisdom. Make a bad decision? Take stock of the situation, analyze it, adapt your plan and look forward (not backward).”

Mike Says:

“Learning and thinking differentiates your potential more than any other competency. Set yourself on a path to learn one thing and challenge one assumption each day. You’ll gain insight from the most unlikely places.”
